FEATURED REFLECTION

Is your Candy Bucket Already Full?

With Halloween around the corner, imagine everything you’re carrying as candy in a bucket. Work, relationships, responsibilities, grief, uncertainty, and even things you love all take up room. Some have been sitting there so long you barely notice their weight.

Before adding more, what’s already in your bucket? This reflection invites you to take inventory and consider what might become possible with a little more space this Halloween season.

OUR STORY · OUR COMMUNITY

About the Kaizen Women’s Group

Kaizen is a Japanese term often translated as “continuous improvement.” For our community, it’s about small steps toward growth, meaningful connection, and contributing to something beyond ourselves.

Our story began with the Kaizen Men’s Group in Salt Lake City. The Kaizen Women’s Group grew from that foundation, creating its own opportunities for women to gather, share experiences, and explore new interests. We’re grateful to the original men’s group for planting the seed.

Today, you’ll find women’s gatherings alongside community events and volunteer opportunities open to both men and women. Whether you come for conversation, a new experience, or a chance to help others, you’re welcome to join what interests you.

HAVE AN IDEA? LETS CONNECT.

Help Shape What’s Next

Have an activity you’d love to try, a place you’d like to explore, or something you enjoy sharing with others? We’d love to hear your ideas.

Whether you’d like to suggest a hike, organize a gathering, lead a creative workshop, or connect us with a volunteer opportunity, there are many ways to help shape what’s next. Maybe you know a great local spot, have a skill to share, or simply want company for something new.

You don’t need a finished plan. Tell us what you envision, and we can explore what’s possible together.

MEET EMILY ARDEN

Hi, I'm Emily, and I help coordinate the Kaizen Women's Group. I've noticed how easy it can be to go through life without many opportunities for genuine connection, and I wanted to be part of changing that.

I also run Alternative Solutions, where I explore the patterns, perspectives, and possibilities that shape our lives. Bringing women together through Kaizen is another way I get to put something I care about into action.
